Students in “DiPatje” viral video to be severely punished

36 understudies were suspended from Leondale Secondary School, Ekurhuleni, on Friday 22 April after a video of them moving to the viral amapiano melody, Di Patje by Felo Le Tee and Myztro accomplishment. Daliwonga surfaced on the web.

The students were moving as well as smoking dagga on school premises.

Gauteng instruction MEC Panyaza Lesufi who visited the school tended to the understudies and the school overseeing the body that there will be a prompt disciplinary hearing for the students who bounced on the test.

“We told the school overseeing body that there will be a dire disciplinary hearing by this end of the week.

Panyaza said the individuals who offer dagga to the children will be indicted, and a body of evidence will be opened against them.

“We need to realize who is selling this, who was conveying this and we need to realize who is affecting our kids wrongly,” he said.

“My kids, you have options. It is possible that you need to be a student or not.”

“We can’t endure what is going on where youngsters smoke drugs inside the school premises,” he said.
