The Toronto rapper offers up a sample of his impending collection “Alone At Prom”

Back in September, Tory Lanez cleaned his Instagram off and tweeted, “It’s been genuine,” with next to no clarification.

Fans theorized that Lanez was making a beeline for prison, because of his continuous legal dispute coming from charges that he shot Megan Thee Stallion in the feet back in 2020. Notwithstanding, Lanez set out to settle that theory, and in a progression of online media post, reported that his new collection, Alone At Prom, was coming.

Today, Lanez delivered the main single off Alone At Prom, “Woman Of Namek.”

Diverting a person he named Ashton Rain, Lanez affirmed that Alone At Prom will seem like it was pulled directly from the 80s. “Woman Of Namek” is loaded with hard-hitting synths, and observes Lanez moving away from hip-jump and R&B, and exemplifies the sound and feel of the decade it genuinely has a place it.

As per Lanez, Rain is “a combination of Hall and Oates, Toto, Michael Jackson, Rick James and then some,” and honors when “music was retro and nostalgic to the point that the person must be made and confirmed through film, picture and music video.”______
