Pressa Feat. Swae Lee – Cool, Calm & Collected

Blue Feather Records

Toronto rapper Pressa taps Swae Lee for the third track off his new “Gardner Express” select.

Earlier today (Nov. 3), Pressa delivered the select rendition to his December 2020 EP Gardner Express. The first venture contained seven tracks with highlights prominent from Sheff G and Jackboy. The select adds seven new tracks, tapping Rowdy Rebel for an element just as Swae Lee for the melody “Cool, Calm and Collected.”

“Cool, Calm and Collected” opens with a lighthearted, proud section from Swae Lee sandwiched by his brilliantly sung snare. He rules the principal half of the track, setting it up impeccably for Pressa to come in and adequately match the energy.

Over the inconspicuous horns and copious applauds on the instrumental, Pressa does exactly that. He handles the second section without a hitch, utilizing it as a notice to his foes about intersection him: “Couldn’t cross me ’cause Press Machine, he ain’t Catholic.”

Explaining on his dangerous weapons and fine gems, Pressa consoles his crowd that he actually lean towards chipping away at his art as opposed to celebrating.

While Swae Lee takes up most of the melody’s vocals, Pressa’s essence is doubtlessly felt when he runs through his stanza. The team complete one another with coordinating with subjects and similarly strong exhibitions.
