Moneybagg Yo takes advantage of the aggravation on “Wockesha.”
It appears as though Moneybagg Yo came to overwhelm the late spring. The arrival of A Gangsta’s Pain on Friday denoted another period in the rapper’s vocation where he’s more engaged than he’s always been. Stretching out for more than 20 tracks, the rapper offers a legitimate portion of those club bangers that he’s known for and more passionate records that dive into the aggravation.
One tune, specifically, that is important is “Wockesha” – a respect to grimy Sprite. The record opens up with a passage from Wayne’s notorious “what’s in my cup discourse” over DeBarge’s “Stay With Me” which has most quite been examined by Biggie, Ashanti, and Big L. Bagg subtleties his relationship with lean as though it’s a lady that he continues to get back to. “Brief I’m finished with you, the following one I be runnin’ back/Go your direction, I turn out well for me however some way or another we be as yet connected,” he raps on the snare.
